A new year start of new stuff

So I don't update often. I don't like to ramble on about my boring thoughts. But it seems like people like to read and read and read blogs because I'm always getting asked to update! Glad people like me I guess.

My thoughts as of lately... (I'll keep them short so you guys can move on to the next blog you follow)

My husband and I had our 1 year anniversary last month. We are so thrilled to have what we hear is the hardest year out of the way! We are still very much in love!

I also had my 1 year anniversary of being the Manager of the Fantastic Sams I work at. In March, I will have been there for 3 years. Its still going good and I love all the girls I work with. Shout out to you hair ladies who are reading this! You make life easier and I so appreciate you!

My husband has started a new job at Papa John's delivering pizza. He wouldn't let me take a picture of him in his uniform to put on the blog...party pooper! He brings home food almost all the time and I love it! Papa John's is the best pizza!! The only discouraging thing is he makes way more in tips than I do doing hair. But I can't be upset about making money!!


I got a calling in my ward. Visiting Teaching Supervisor. I haven't done anything yet and I hope I don't have to do much. But I do know I'm not going to be one of those pesky pushy girls who you never want to call back... Ya know what I mean?

TV shows are back! I've been following Smallville for forever and I'm really hoping they end the show soon, its time. There are so many things I can't stand, but I still watch it! The most annoying thing is Clark Kent is practically the same person in season 8 as he was when the show started AND he still doesn't wear glasses or fly! Seriously, what are they waiting for?? I like the show, but sometimes I feel like I could write it better. My next favorite show that I follow is of course, The Office. I don't even need to say anything about it because those of you who watch it, know it needs no description about why its sooooo good! I also watch Lost...the most frustrating show ever! Its good, but really? There are way to many story lines and nothing ever seems to get resolved. If you don't watch the show and you want to, wait til you have too much free time on your hands so you can watch it all at once. Otherwise, you might get too LOST in the story. Another great show I love to watch is Heroes. I think the premiere is tomorrow and I'm very excited! That show is intense! We own the first season and I make people borrow it so they can get into it too! I just think its really great. I'm a sucker for super heroes though so I'm probably a little too obsessive. The show on before it is called, Chuck. That is a fun show to watch! Its hard for me to explain but I encourage anyone to watch it, its great! Well, those 5 shows are about all I will watch faithfully. We DVR them all!






My friend Trever came to town for a visit. We had lunch at Burger Supreme. It was my first time there and I liked it! Trever told me the burgers are only $1.00 after 8pm so good news for anyone who wants a cheap delicious burger! Back to Trever though, he is a stud! One of the funniest guys I've ever met and one of the sweetest. I didn't get a picture of him that day but here is one of him from 2 Halloweens ago. He went as Nacho Libre and had me fro his hair. I wrapped it in perm rods and dried it that way. It was awesome!

Christmas

Christmas! Probably the greatest holiday of the year. We had some fun over the last few days. We hit our 1 year anniversary which was the 21st, Sunday. We did most the celebrating on Saturday though. We went to the temple in the morning. A little advice about going to the temple the Saturday before Christmas, don't go then! We waited a LONG time and were ready to go once given the chance. Still, always a good thing to do and it leaves you with a great feeling afterward. We were starving when we got home so we moved our special eat out meal to lunch instead of dinner. My friend Abe works at Carrabbas and he hooked us up there. We had some good food and a good time! Thanks, Abe! After that I took John to see the Twilight movie...which made it my third time seeing it! Can't get enough! John was surprised that he didn't hate it! After that we spent a quite evening at home! Unfortunetly I didn't get any pictures... so, on to Christmas! I won't write about it because I think the pictures and videos will be enough explanation!

ThanksVegasMas

So this year my family all got together to celebrate Thanksgiving. This was the first time we were all able to be together in 4 maybe 5 years. I can't really remember. But it had been a long time. We decided it would be fun to do Christmas while we were there because none of us will be available to see each other at actual Christmas time. We all traveled to Las Vegas where my oldest brother Aaron and his family lives. We had a blast! We played games and ate lots of food! (there are a couple pregnant ladies right now...not me!) Here are some of the really good times captured!

And the greatest video... we played a game that was like telephone plus sherades. My only regret is I didn't get it from the start. Anyway, you might not understand what's going on but its still just fun to see us all cracking up!

Twilight

So yesterday I saw the movie, Twilight. It's fantastic! Of course the book is better and I recommend the series! What I love about the books is the passion. It's so captivating. You have to keep reading to find out what happens. Edward is the perfect guy too, for a vampire!

I haven't been able to think much about anything else since I've seen it and I can't wait to watch it again! I can't stop thinking about it!

Well, that really is our whole house! Just not the outside. I guess you guys can just use your imagination for that! We still need a kitchen table as you can tell. You can probably also tell in the kitchen some of our cabinets are breaking. We'll get to it eventually... Like the tiny downstairs bathroom? Ha, its small but its all you need! We really like it here! Hope these pictures will make you want to come visit us!

We moved!

Well a lot just happened in the last 2 weeks! My husband and I bought our very first place. It's a townhouse type place but hey, its great! No more throwing money away on rent! We are still getting settled though so I wont post any pictures until things are a little more, well, done. So, just a quick update this time. I'll try to get back soon!
