The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Christmas was great this year! I took a week off work for relaxation, vacation, and Christmas celebration! It's tradition on the Lewis side of the family to do what they call Grandpa Claus. They read and sing the Nativity and then follow up with presents for everyone! Usually something small and simple because there are so many of us! This year everyone got homemade hats, which were really cute!

Next, John and I traveled to Las Vegas to spend a few days of just us time for our 2 year anniversary. We stayed at a 4 star hotel south of the strip called, South Point. The highlight was their fabulous Spa where we enjoyed a private jacuzzi/steam/sauna room that also included endless amounts of fruits and water. We had great sweedish massages too! I'd love to do a spa every week if I could. John said after wards that this is why rich people are so happy!Besides the spa we saw the movie Avatar in 3-D, which we very much enjoyed! We also saw Surrogates, which we thought was ok. The last final thing to do on the list was eat a really nice buffet. So, with a great recommendation, we had dinner at the Mirage. It was indeed very satisfying! But after 2 fun days of alone time and relaxation, it was time to spend the joyous holiday with my family.

My brother, Aaron lives in Las Vegas along with his wife, Janet and their 4 boys Ben, Luke, Zack, and the newest member, Simon. Baby Simon is about 6 weeks old and really really cute! I'm so glad I finally got to meet him and hold him! My parents also came and so did my sister, Cody and her husband, Jake. I love hanging out with my family, we don't get to do it often enough! The time together always seems too short. Before you knew it we were back in Utah and back to work. We had some great times and here are some photos of our fun
