More of May

Babies grow so fast.  It makes me feel like I need to be documenting way more often.  So, here's my attempt.  The weather has been pretty nice lately and that means we've been spending way more time outdoors.  EZ absolutely loves riding his bikes.  Yes, he has 2, and a little car (which you can see in the first picture) that he's grown out of but still likes to push around in it.  We live in town homes and there are many young families which means lots of other kids to play with.  EZ is still pretty shy though.  I guess it's a good thing, but sometimes (most of the time) I want him to leave me alone and just go play and have fun without me.  Someday he will right?  Then I'll miss these days...

We got out the high chair recently and Bruce is pretty happy sitting in it and munching on his "chew toys."  That's what we call his teething toys.  Yes, he is teething.  I haven't felt any teeth poking through but he sure drools and bites and shoves everything in his mouth.  Thankfully he hasn't been too cranky because of it.

 It's officially shorts weather!

EZ has moved on from taking naps.... in his bed.  He will not stay in his bed during the day so
instead he usually falls asleep next to Dad while watching TV.  When Dad is home that is.

 Sunday Family gatherings

John has the magic touch.  He can get this baby to fall asleep wherever we are.  I never can, and I am jealous!

A day at Grandma and Grandpa's.  EZ found these sunglasses and he looked pretty awesome in them.
Especially once we turned on the "negative" effect on my camera phone.

This babe is 5 months old already!

Here we are at the park.  Bruce is still a little too tiny for the baby swing.  Look how tilted his head is.  You've probably noticed it in other pictures.  He has torticollis and we are still doing exercises.  He is getting better though.  He can turn his head pretty normally.  It's just when he looks straight at you...it's not that straight.  Hopefully just a few more weeks and he will be all evened out!  Oh and here is EZ again not leaving my side to play with the kids on the playground.  No, instead he climbs on the bench next to me and jumps off.  Needless to say, we didn't stay long.  He does the same thing at home.  Like my greaser bangs?  It was windy and that's where they ended up when I snapped the picture.  Haha!  Never can decide to keep them or grow them out...  Always go back and forth.

 MMMM..... toes!

We got EZ one of those cheap-o squirt guns and he totally loves it!  Here we are getting wet and having a blast!
The last picture is EZ all disappointed when we said we were done and need to go back inside.  I love that expression.

Silly kid in the tub.  Look at those tan lines!

Bruce has finally started to cuddle up and I'm lovin' it!

So one night out with my Young Women's group, we happened to run into a couple of stars from BYU's Studio C show.
Don't know what that is?  Look it up, it's the cleanest funny skit show you'll ever see!

Bruce is a picky baby.  He always wants to be held or have your full attention.  But those few seconds that I need to myself periodically throughout the day where I have to lay him down, he lets me know he's not happy about it by crying and sometimes screaming until I come back to get him.  Well, sometimes it takes me a while and EZ steps up.  He is a good helper and here he is giving Bruce his pacifier to shut him up!  Bruce doesn't really care for a pacifier anymore but he still calmed down because he had someone's attention.  I love the brother pictures anytime I can get them!  He is pretty happy when he gets what he wants!

We went up to the Cheesecake Factory with some family the other day and we stopped in the Lego Store.  EZ was pretty much in heaven!

Even Bruce had a good time!

I was able to get in some much needed girly shopping time and while I was out, I found this great Pirate ship kiddie pool.  EZ again, was in heaven.  What kid doesn't love summer time?  The pool also came with a shield, sword, and steering wheel or helm, as well as a water spraying cannon- when hooked up to the hose.  Later that day we went over to see some family because it was Memorial Day after all and EZ enjoyed himself a cupcake!  3 year olds are so easy to please!
