Sorry it's been so long, I always think I'm going to stay on top of it but in the day-to-day it doesn't feel like much happens. Then, before you know it the season's changed, holidays and events came and went and you're looking at your pictures like, AHHH! I need to document before these images get forgotten! So, here we go...
I gave our dog a haircut. It's so much work but worth it!
Security patrol on duty!Found this little cutie playing with magnets on the kitchen floor. I have a picture of myself as a kid doing this exact same thing!
Bruce came down with an awful cold. It really wiped him out. Poor little guy. We took him to the doc but they didn't seem to think it was Covid so we didn't test. He got better with some antibiotics but it was a rough few days.
I often give this part of Arizona a bad rap but there are some truly wonderful things. It's quiet and peaceful. Nothing but open skies often painted with incredible colors. When the wind isn't crazy and just a nice breeze, it's a great day for some hammock relaxation.
Feeling better! nanananananananan BATMAN!
We FINALLY got out of the house and took a quick weekend trip. We stayed at a hotel with a fabulous water park. We ate at all the good restaurants (one of which actually had Root Beer! -for Bruce) and took the kids to the mall where we saw an amazing Lego build. I tried to get some pics of my beachy wavy hair while John took a nap and the kids played video games.
This kid is so fun! He puts together this crazy outfit, strikes a few poses and calls himself, "Fashion Guy"
Grandmother sent some fun gifts in the mail!!! The boys were so excited!!
Summer has officially started. Our great neighbors have a pool and invite us over from time to time to go swimming. It's a little small for the adults but that doesn't stop the fun and the kids have a blast! We love these kind of days of sun, relaxing, cooking out, and hanging with good people! We also hit up the splash pad a few times too. Bruce liked pushing his hair to the side, he said it looked good like that. I agree!
We made delicious Indian Food. Chicken Tikka Masala, and Spinach Saag with homemade paneer cheese, as well as Bombay potatoes and homemade Naan and some rice. Oh and don't forget the lassi's! It takes like 3+ hours but so worth it. MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm
Oh and another pool day with the neighbors!
Next up: vacation trip to visit Utah!
