Buying Online

So I'm not one to buy things off the Internet. It makes me nervous. There is a lot of identify theft problems out there and I just don't think its all that safe. So, I try not to do it. However, a couple weeks ago, I failed at my attempt. You see, I like to own TV series on DVD. My favorite show of all time is Boy Meets World. I own the first 3 seasons and have been wanting the rest for many years. They just aren't out on DVD yet. So, I decided to look up the status of the make-show-to-DVD process for the other seasons. On IMDB there was a link that said something like, Boy Meets World All 7 Seasons on DVD Liquidation Sale 75% off til supplies last... WOW! How could I pass this up? My favorite show 75% off, thats the greatest bargain of all time! Now, usually I'd ask my husband his thoughts before I spent 50 bucks on something but he wasn't around and I was afraid the offer would be gone tomorrow.. cause I'm a sucker and don't think people are really out there to rip you off... So, I caved. I bought it. I did do the smart thing and have it sent to my work instead of home. Being nervous about purchasing online I did not give my real address. Well, it arrived...and its crap. Its nothing official. It looks like someone made it at home. The quality is a little blurry, like when you watch shows online sometimes. They were recorded off Disney channel and sometimes things pop up or scan across the bottom of the screen about Lizzie Mcguire and Disney movies and bla bla bla. Its annoying. Every disc has this picture poorly scanned on it in black and white. Also, a hand written number on each disc...ugh

So, the moral of the story is don't buy anything off the internet unless you know without any doubt that its legit.
